Photographer's Note

As kind of present to Peter/Homerhomer who discussed the original picture yesterday and Sohrab who sent me this link and just for fun for all the friends I got on TE the last two years... ;o)))

Technical changes to this Re-Post: Cropped a little bit of up side, transformed in B&W modus, added a grain on the background only, made the dog more contrasted and sharper, added a frame. What do you think?

He first looked terrible!... But everybody could walk around him. After two hours wandering the Baux de Provence, he still was there looking for a bit of sun...

But of course this picture is not about the dog - he just happened to be there - but about the picturesque narrow streets, the old stoned houses witnessing traces of the past and which could easily get you to imagine walking throught midlle ages time.

«No one passes through Les Baux without a sense of true nostalgia, for here, more than anywhere else, the labours of time show what becomes of the most ambitious undertakings: ruined walls and breaches onto the void. The stones of man’s proud constructions devoured by the sun and wind. Only traces remain of their ambition, fears and solitude»
