- L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, wonderful little town of the typical Provence. Having coloured with green and with water, this citisland, put down at the foot of the tray of Vaucluse, in the lowland of Comtat Venaissin, is crossed of several channels fed by "La Sorgue". Ubiquitous, the river spreads the two long arms around the city as if to clutch it better. Twice a year, in Easter and on August 15th more than 500 antiquarians and bric-à-brac traders arrange to meet here to introduce their treasures to customers come from the 4 corners of the world.... This fair has of what to give vertigo, including to the lit experts. This postcard to simulate the past. Coloured version in Workshop

Hello Giorgio,

Interesting to see your experiments with black & white!
I like the conversion with good contrast, and the medium fits the subject as I can see nothing newer than 1950 in the frame...
A balanced composition, a fine sense of depth!

ciao Giorgio,
piacevole l'effetto creato dal B&W ,con le acque che scorrono in primo piano che pero' bisogna aver cura di contrastare e scurire un po' per evitare la sovraesposizione.
Occorre pure nel passaggio eliminare tutti gli elementi come parabole e antenne troppo moderne se si vuole dare l'effetto antico alla foto.
I consigli ,e non la critica, su questo genere di foto te li passo perche' sono utili e lo sono stati anche per me quando li ho ricevuti.

Toute l'ambiance de cette belle petite ville rendue par ta phto. Bonne idée d'avoir "décoloré" l'image. Un excellent POV avec ce bel avant-plan.

Un petit peu de sépia aurait encore renforcé cet aspect de vieille carte postale. L'image est sympa et très bien composée

Effectivement, elle a un joli charme surannée cette photo, tout en ayant une belle dose de dynamisme avec ces chutes d'eau au premier plan;
un joli cadrage et une présentation originale.

une très bonne idée de cette photo en noir et blanc, très carte postale avec les chutes d'eau au premier plan, un côté nostalgique de la ville et ton ws colorisé ets tres bien egalement
