Photographer’s Note
This is the ill-fated Malpasset Dam which broke in 1959, killing hundreds of people in the subsequent flood. The ruin is impressive in the sheer size of it, shown by this little boy walking on the bottom of the dam. Links and further information here. http://www.beyond.fr/sites/malpasset.html
