remembrance of the holidays, under a bright sunshine, cooling down in the swimming pool.
Even with a very wide angle, the DOF is not infinite with a medium aperture f9.5 (sharpness on the diving flippers)

namaste Clodo, an interesting presentation here. Nice perspective. Great depth. The colours are rich. At a whole a nice composition with a distinct foreground subject which added depth to it. Superb one. Tfs.

F/22 would here are better for more depth sharpness.
But your picture is absolutely not bad with the swimmers in foreground.
Excellent depth and perspective picture.
Very well composition, excellent captured. TFS.

A well constructed picture, making great use of small DOF to highlight the blue flippers, but keeping good focus on the swimmer. I actually like this effect of blurring in the distance - the features can be made out clearly enough. The strong colours and light, your cropping and perspective have made a striking picture out of this commonplace scene.

Great perspective and colours. And certainly memories of Summer (though I hope it's not over yet, as I am going sailing in Italy and then visiting Montenegro in September/October).

I`m not sure what went wrong here but I would have thought that the BG would have been much sharper at f/9.5,perhaps a little camera shake came into the equation, nevertheless it is a colourful reminder of warm summer days by the pool.
An interesting experiment for sure.
Best regards Les.

I am not a fan of swimming pools, but this makes me wanna jump right in! Great POV, and brilliant with the blue swim feet in the fore ground.

Do you try to set the camera to hyperfocal distance ?
I'm sure it will help.
but this composition is superb. I like the blue colour of the water, flippers on the FG and the reflections of the light. Superb shot. TFS
Have a nice day

Another striking long perspective seen from such a strategic viewpoint, a fascinating image for its stinging colours and clarity created by the strong foreground which leads smoothly stretching the eyes all the way. The swimmer is just at the right spot to hold the focus firmly there and the power of wide lens is so evident with this enormous effect. Great effort and vision, Congrats

Hello Claude - I like this very much, it is a simple scene but your composition with the focus on the flippers gives it a quirkiness which appeals to me and one I think that raises the composition above the norm. Warm regards Rosemary
