Photographer's Note

I just bought my camera and lens and this was one of the first pictures I took.
The "bravade" is a meeting where you have old dances, Provence folk music, parades, in praise of Saint François de Paule who came in 1482 in Fréjus and protect the persons living there from the plague.

A folk group of women in old Provence cloth is taken in picture by one of them. Smile, cheese!

la photographe est très bien placée par rapport aux femmes assises en rang d'oignons, et les couleurs apportées par les cosrtumes folkloriques sont superbes.Marrant et superbe!

hello Claude,

J'aime bien cette approche gentiment teintée d'humour pour nous présenter cette brochette de madames très folklorisantes "folklo"comme c'est qu'on dit!
Ya de la couleur dans une bonne lumière et visiblement de la part de ces"poupées régionales"un vrai plaisir d'être là,comme ça, pour être regardées et bien sûr photographiées.

Cong.'s for the new camera, and a wonderful, cheerful and vivid picture to begin with.
Same costume as a returning pattern, they dressed, smiling with fabulous faces expression.

isn't it the case that there is almost always 1 person in a group photo who has their eyes closed!!
The 3 women to the left, they are the star of the show..they each have a unique look on their faces.

You're capturing well this interesting set photograph by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive to see ethnic costume of a good time. It's so lovely and charming. Especially white hat and shawl are interesting. Good shot in festival.

This is good technique, grab her in action to make the picture tells a story even though they are fully aware of your presence. She is well positioned, the most effective element to hold the focus on but with lovely glimpse of the colorful slight out of focus ladies, their cheery livens this shot. A deightful street candid image well rendered. Great capture. Congrats
