In Crillon-le-Brave, The SAINT ROMAIN parochial CHURCH, of Romanesque style, XVth XIXth centuries.

We can read inside the church the epitaph to Louis de Balbes de Berton said the "Brave Crillon" that Henri IV called "le meilleur Capitaine du monde", the best Captain of the world: «Henri IV l'aima, les pauvres le pleurèrent», Henri IV liked him, poor people mourned him.

CRILLON-LE-BRAVE is a French commune located in the department of Vaucluse, of the area Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, populated of 452 Crillonnais in 2009, divided on 7.6 km², that is to say 59.2 hab./km².

The village is mentioned for the first time in the 12th century.
