On the Waterfront Cannes there were many billboards that publicized photographers and the photographic exhibition which was held in the city, it seemed a good starting point to take a picture of the road

Good similarity between the live persons and the lady on the advert. I wod have cropped the left part to stay in the B&W picture.
Have a nice sunday

An interesting street scene. Indeed, the b&w was a good decision. All details look well and very sharp. Thanks for sharing!
Have a nice day!

great street scene captured by you.And B&W seems to me the best choice here,as it on the one hand creates so nice, unique mood of this scene and on the other hand adds more depth to the image and do not distract us additionaly with colors.Really love your B&W compositions and the way you proccess them.
Have a nice sunday

You had an excellent slice of daily life moment in Cannes. I agree with Clodo, a tighter crop might be preferable in this grouping. One year before you shot this photo, I was at the same street corner. The lady with the feather hat was not there yet.

This is a very interesting collection of faces, bodies and personal styles - real and artificial. It doesn't matter so much that you cut off the feet of the real people, since my attention is so strongly drawn to the central part of the composition. B&W was a good choice because it makes us forcus on the essentials, the attitudes of those involved. I see that some have suggested cropping the left part. That would of course be an option but I think it adds a perspective to the picture to see the street further away. I also like the "forest" of signs.

Buona sera Valter,
Cannes is known town for it's schick and rlrgance, you cought the perfect look like it of those on picture.
B&W is OK, but I wonder how this appear on colors.
Fine taken, impressive billboard.

This is good street candid shot and I feel that you have blended in well capturing the moment spontaneously even with them noticing, and you have caught this surprise gentleman quite nicely as strong element with a sense of humour. The main subject and the complimentary three onlookers are significantly positioned while the hugh poster is great magnet to this quiet attractive cityscene. Excellent ideas and keen eyes. Well done. Congrats
