After 5 of your critic should further note: the effect, except for the sepia is the old windows of at least 100 years, I have not applied any filter.

Avignon (/aviɲɔ̃/ in French) (Provençal: Avinhon in classical norm or Avignoun in Mistralian norm; Spanish: Aviñón) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in southeastern France with an estimated mid-2004 population of 89,300 in the city itself and a population of 290,466 in the metropolitan area at the 1999 census.

The city is well known for its Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes), where several popes and antipopes lived from the early 14th to early 15th centuries.

Ciao Salvatore,

Cool POV - you have managed to capture the old atmosphere very well. I think I would have cropped some of the "empty" darkness on the bottom and tried a more square format. Otherwise it's a fine shot. B&W with that touch of sepia was an excellent choice.

Ma è stupenda!
Anche tu nel 2004 non scherzavi...la definizione era quello che era però hai fatto un bel lavoro di postproduzione, molto bravo.
Ad Avignone ci sono stato ma non ho bei ricordi, e non ho scattato manco una foto, anche se comunque c'erano dei bei notturni.
Ciao, ci si vede a Venezia...

Hi Salvatore,

your photo is timeless cause it could also have been taken about 50 years ago. The use of sepia tones was here the right choice for this POV.

mi piace per il taglio che hai dato e per la gestione della luce...certo, sulle alte luci hai avuto qualche problema, ma non poteva essere altrimenti. Credo tu abbia tirato fuori il meglio da questa situazione.

Questa é un'immagine che trovo molto, ma molto fascinosa. Sa di un passato che nessuno é più in grado di raccontare. O che NESSUNO ha voglia di raccontare. Perchè? Non si sa. Segreti, misteri, che non ci saranno svelati...Ma che pure si intuiscono, osservando attentamente. Leggendo tra pietra e pietra, tra ombra e ombra...
E meno male che ero io la fotografa inquietante...!
