old and worn
brimming with life
Aix-en-Provence is a small, but busy town in the south of France, where students become tourists and tourists become students.
This picture shows the Place d'Albertas and its famous fountain.

I like very much the composition and the interaction between the people and the setting. It's an interesting scene, the people aren't just sitting to relax but there's something going on between them. I love how the worn, mysterious facades seem to wrap around them, whether protectively or menacingly, I don't know, both hypotheses are fascinating. Details are excellent and the graduation of light and colours is superb, so atmospheric. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,

Excellent observational photography, a bit creepy place and derelict buildings of all kinds with lovely bit of rot and grot...
Plenty to show us from this little square that have fine colours and textures just falling into decay but there's still charm full of character. The couple pull the eye and really add some life to this. Fine lens work, Congrats.

this square might not be the most pretty in the world but I like its slightly scruffy walls a lot - they seem to be very natural. The two girls sitting on the edge of the fountain look relaxed and add subtle element of the human presence to the composition.
Well chosen POV, elegant and well proportioned framing and well saturated colors.
