Photographer’s Note
I felt as if we were disturbing this man as we paraded through his city. He sat patiently siping his coffee... his dog at his side. I forget the name of the city but it was close to Aix-en-provence in the south of france. Already in march it was quite warm, and there was a beautiful castle on the edge of the small town. I was blown away by the simplicity of it all, could you imagine walking to work and passing a castle? For me, as a western canadian its hard to picture.
