When a sunray finds its way through a stormy sky, isn't it like a little miracle?

Here, the Saint-Sauveur Cathedral church, seen from the forecourt. It is said to be built on the foundations of a temple dedicated to Apollon.

Quand un rayon de soleil trouve son chemin à travers un ciel orageux, n'est-ce pas comme un petit miracle?

Ici, la cathédrale Saint-Sauveur d'Aix-en-Provence, vue depuis le parvis. La légende dit qu'elle fut construite sur les fondations d'un temple dédié à Apollon.

Hi Marine,
a very nice composition.
I like the POV especially.
The stormy sky looks great and gives a nice tint to the image.

hi Marine,
the stormy sky creates quite a drama here, and your upward looking point of view adds tension that I find fits very well. strong diagonals nicely lead the eye through the shot, but the light, of course, is what I like best. excellent timing :)

Bonsoir Marine,
Plan arrière , donc original, de ce beau clocher, en contre-plongée. Les ocres et gris-bleus connaissent bien leur partition : c'est sans fausse-note ! Le mur sombre de droite et l'oblique prononcée de son arête supérieure accentuent l'atmosphère orageuse.
Avec une pensée (très) admirative pour les mains qui ont érigé ce genre de construction...

Excellente composition, bien équilibrée avec une belle diagonale. Un beau ciel chargé et menaçant accompagné de ce spot de lumière se conjuguent pour donner une très belle image.

la lumière après la pluie est toujours la plus belle des lumières quand apparaît un rayon de soleil,et tu as eu la chance d'en profiter au moment où tu avais ton appareil photo avec toi!Le contraste des pierres dorées avel le bleu spmbre du ciel est magnifique,et ton POV donne à cette cathédrale une hauteur impressionante!Superbe!
