My thoughts, in this first day of the year, go towards the populations in danger. For political, ecological, religious, social, or economical reasons.

Specially towards minorities who have more difficulties to claim their rights, are harrassed, exploited, continually exposed to violence, if not expelled from their ancestor's territories...

Let's think... who is concerned?

Too many people!!!

In Asia, I think to the people of Myanmar, to Papuans in Indonesia, to Nagas and Assameses in India; to Tibetans in the mountains and to Salones/Mokens/Bajaus(Sea Gypsies) along the coasts...

In Africa, I think to the victims of unceasing conflicts from Darfour to Zimbabwe, from children soldiers to victims of excision.

In Middle-East, I think to Irakis and Afghanis, to the unresolved situation between Palestinians and Israelians, to Kurds or Lebaneses.

In Americas, I think to the Indians, from the depths of Amazonia to the heights of the Andes cordillera; and to the homelesses who lost everything in the subprime crisis.

In Europe, I think to the internecine fights in the Balkans, that have affected populations on each side, to the citizens of Eastern Europe, exposed to repression, to the mafia, to the degradation of the environment and...to the french victims of the peoplisation of Politics.

I think to the Earth, suffering from our lack of consciousness and respect towards the land we inhabit.

Because green is the color of Hope, and because we DO NEED a lot of hope for the future, that's with this color that I want to wish to all of you a

HAPPY NEW YEAR

(And if things go wrong, don't forget: there are always more unfortunate than you!)

Mes pensées, en ce premier jour de l'année, vont vers les populations en danger. Pour des raisons politiques, écologiques, religieuses, sociales, ou économiques.

Particulièrement vers les minorités qui ont plus de difficultés pour revendiquer leurs droits, sont harcelées, exploitées, continuellement exposées à la violence, sinon expulsées de la terre de leurs ancêtres.

Voyons... qui est concerné ?


Trop de monde ! ! !


En Asie, je pense aux habitants du Myanmar; aux Papous en Indonésie; aux Nagas et aux Assamais en Inde ; aux Tibétains dans les montagnes et aux Salones/Mokens/Bajaus (gitans de la mer) le long des côtes...

En Afrique, je pense aux victimes des conflits incessants, du Darfour au Zimbabwe; aux enfants soldats et aux victimes de l'excision.

Au Moyen-Orient, je pense à Irakiens et à Afghan(e)s,
à la situation non résolue entre les Palestiniens et les Israëliens, aux Kurdes ou aux Libanais.

En Amériques, je pense aux Indiens, des profondeurs de l'Amazonie aux sommets de la cordillère des Andes; et aux sans-abris qui ont tout perdu dans la crise des subprimes.

En Europe, je pense aux combats fratricides des Balkans, qui ont affecté des populations de chaque côté, aux citoyens d'Europe de l'Est exposés à la répression, à la mafia, à la dégradation de l'environnement... et aussi aux victimes françaises de la peoplelisation de la politique.

Je pense à la Terre, souffrant de notre manque de conscience et de respect envers la planète que nous habitons.


Puisque le vert est la couleur de l'espoir, et parce que nous allons AVOIR BESOIN de beaucoup d'espoir à l'avenir, c'est avec cette couleur que je veux vous souhaiter à tous une

BONNE ANNEE
