Some bulbs site lurking on this photo ... but the lady is under renovation!
Albi Cathedral, built from 1282, is the largest brick cathedral in the world, 113 m long, 35m wide. It surprises the visitor who is often compared to a real 'castle'. Monument unparalleled, she asserted her power through a typical style of the Southwest of France, Southern Gothic. Installed on one of the heights of the city, as a base, Albi Cathedral Sainte-Cécile is the witness of the Christian faith after the Cathar heresy. His unique style is enhanced by its interior, a true Christian art museum. It is the only cathedral in Europe whose walls and ceilings are painted entirely on an area covering approximately 18,500 m2.

Salut Jean Philippe,
la photo me gène un peu, peut-être la contre-plongée est-elle trop accentuée? L’œil ne sait pas où il doit se poser.

Hi Jean Philippe,
I like this a lot, the angle is steep, but its dizzying too and I like a picture that makes me like I am right there, looking up myself, it places me perfectly in the scene. And what a scene to be placed in, so much detail, artwork and architecture for the eye to explore! I don't think the bulbs are too intrusive either, they are a part of the place, and so its a real shot. There is so much else to see anyway!
Thanks for sharing

Je suis un peu étonné par cette photo un peu sombre à mon goût. Elle semble à mon avis pas mettre suffisamment l’intérieur de la cathédrale.
