Pont Valentré, built in the 14th century, is simply beautiful. It has three towers each with large arched gateways due to its historical role as a defensive bridge, and a couple of places where you can sit nearby with your picnic and admire it. The bridge is also recognised to be important enough to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

beautiful choice in black and white here, it suits the subject perfectly! This is a really fine construction, and how unusual to see a bridge with towers on it like this. I really like your composition to show the two faces of the bridges tower.
All the best

A great capture of this ancient bridge that I had the pleasure of seeing late last summer. A fine rendering in black and white, an eminent choice of medium for this subject.

now this is impressive! What an a amazing structure and in B&W it looks like an old postcard so the effect is in a way suitably complementary. Beautifully rendered and textured with immaculate detailing. Superb!

Buona serata e complimenti,Luciano

This is such a fine postcard! I wish i was there to capture it myself!!! So rich and elegant looking. The arches steal the show. And the monochrome looks smart too. I wouldnt change anything to this presentation.

A beautiful and photogenic surrounding.
The diagonal lines of the river creates
a nice depth. Composition and the light
management are very good.

I am no big fan of black and white , but your picture is very well taken.
Out of a very well angle with a composition with depth and perspective.
Excellent detailed picture with pleasant subject as the bridge.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice day,

indeed, the photographed subject goes really well with B&W.I like it,especially because it emphasizes much better textures of the cloud formations and it makes very nice backdrop for this beautiful bridge.
And the bridge itelf-just like you wrote It´s simply beautiful.
Magnificent presentation my friend!
Have a good day
