Aubrac is a part of the Massif Central: it is a volcanic and granitic high plateau in the crossroads of 3 administrative regions: Auvergne, Midi-Pyrénées, Languedoc-Roussillon but it is to the first one that he is closest both from the point of view of the geography, of the climate, the traditions and of the economy.
