Photographer’s Note
View on cafés terraces a sunday morning on Capitole square, the most known square in Toulouse. Toulouse is often called la ville rose (ie the pink city) because of the colour of the brick traditionnaly locally used to build the buildings. Those buildings around the Capitole square are a very good example of this ! These colours give a lot of charm to the city, especially when the weather is sunny as it was the case this sunday morning !
I had been to Toulouse to see a football game, Toulouse vs Lorient (my favourite team), a good pretext to stay a few days to visit Toulouse and its countryside ! So I want to praise Brice Taton, a Toulouse fan murdered by hooligans in Belgrade, Serbia, a few weeks ago :(
