Photographer’s Note
A sight of the Tarn taken on the bridge of August 22, 1944. The old bridge spans the river and makes it possible to go to the Cathedral St Cecile . On the right of the photograph Albigensian mills: A mill existed already on this site in XIIIe century. Transformed with XVIIIe and XIXe centuries, it became the seat d' a flour mill after 1828, supplemented by a vermicellery in 1845. After having known one flourishing period, the Company of the Mills of l' Albigensian ceased any activity in the years 1970.

Superb urban panorama, colorful, informative, detailed.
Why is the bridge named for this date??
Did you try to post a larger verision of the panorama?
