Photographer’s Note
Toulouse.
The Grave hospital is one of the oldest hospitals of the city.
Located on the left bank of the Garonne river, it takes its name of the shore along the river (shore in french is "grève").
The first building may have been created at the XIIth century. On the XVth, another one was built, the Saint-Sebastien hospital. It received the plague sick people.
Under the reign of Louis XIV, a lot of undesirable people were locked up in places called "general hospitals" : indigents, poor people, homeless, prostitutes, bandits... Then the place took the name of General hospital of Saint-Joseph of the Grave.
On its earth stands the Saint-Joseph chapel. Its dome is well known by the walkers on the Garonne's banks and its silhouette is incontrovertible in the Toulouse's cityscape.

Salut Yannis,
J'aime bien ta compo avec les courbes du batiment rose (typiquement toulousain donc) devant le ciel bleu.
Bonne journée,
JB.
