Millau bridge, a photo from Midi-Pyrenees, South

Photographer's Note

This is a view of the amazing new bridge at Millau in France. The bridge is 343metres at it's highest point (taller than the Eiffel tower) and this is at the 2nd tower from the left. The road surface is 280m above the valley. This shot is taken looking East from the gorgeous little village of Peyre, about 10 minutes drive from Millau.

Salut Rob.Quel éclairage génial tu as pu capturer!On distingue tres bien les haubans ce qui n'est pas toujours une mince affaire.Vraiment un super cliché de ce pont qui va plus me faire "chier" de traverser Millau.Ce terme n'est pas uniquement au figuré....car quand ça presse dans un bouchon....Rires.Amicalement.Phil

J'ai voulu comparer avec les autres photos du viaduc, et là je me suis rendu compte que "Millau" est classé dans la région Midi-Pyrénées...
Une belle composition de ce viaduc ou de cette église en tout cas...

Very nice overview of the bridge. I like the composition much, specially the bright light on that church. The sky is very nice as well, I like that kind of cloudy days.

Really nice shot Rob. I reaaly like how the church comes out creating a good balance withthe rest of the shot espacially of course the viaduc in the background. Many interesting info inthere. Well inspired and composed. Congratulations!

J'aime beaucoup le contraste entre la construction ancienne de l'église et la modernité du viaduc !! L'image est très bien composés et très agréable à regarder !! En plus, les nuages sont venu t'accompagner !!
