Photographer's Note

When moving in the Aveyron snow I saw this tree and plunged against one on the hill, I found the friendly image. The Aveyron is a French department located in the northeast of the Midi-Pyrenees in the southwest of France. It is the center of a triangle formed by the cities of Toulouse, Clermont-Ferrand and Montpellier. This department takes approximately the contours of the former province of Rouergue. This is one of the largest departments of metropolitan France in terms of area (the fifth with 8735 km2) and third in population in the Midi-Pyrenees. Rodez is his prefecture.
