Photographer’s Note
A short series of interior views of the Cathedral of Sainte-Cecille at Albi.
The following from Wikipedea:
“It is built in the Southern Gothic Style. Notable architectural features include the bell-tower (added in 1492), which stands 78 meters tall, and the doorway by Dominique de Florence (added circa 1392).
The elaborate interior stands in stark contrast to the cathedral's military exterior. The central choir, reserved for members of the religious order, is surrounded by a roodscreen with detailed filigree stone work and a group of polychrome statues. Below the organ, a fresco of the Last Judgement (featured in this first posting), attributed to unknown Flemish painters, originally covered nearly 200 m² (the central area was later removed). The frescoes on the enormous vaulted ceiling comprise the largest and oldest ensemble of Italian Renaissance painting in France.
The cathedral organ, the work of the artist Christophe Moucherel, dates from the 18th century.”

Hi Stephen
Well managed interior lighting, in this impressive cathedral. Good colour & sharpness, & I like the wide angled, panoramic format. Tfs!

Bonjour Stephen
Panoramique bien réussi de l'intérieur de la cathédrale. Tu te débrouilles très bien dans ce genre de photo, ce qui est loin d'être mon cas.
Merci pour le partage et bonne journée.

Hello Stephen. A wonderful sight. One can only admire the painted altar area. The building is cathedral and work of art worth seeing at the same time. (I regard also gladly churches. Unfortunately the time is not enough to regard around itself the beautiful buildings of churches). Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Stephen,
just a very rich interior. Together with your POV it makes the view wide and the cathedral even bigger. I think you used a bench to keep yourself frozen and you got a good result. I am curious about the ceiling here as the walls are so rich painted.
