If there is one thing I have learned on Trekearth it is that you have to move up close to whatever subject you want to show.
My wife and I just spent a week cycling through the hilly vineyards of the Corbières region near Perpignan. And of course I had to share the impression of the vineyards in spring. So once again I chose the macro position which I think best illustrates the budding stems of what will one day be a delicious - and not at all expensive - red wine.
I adjusted the contrast slightly in PS and cropped for composition. The top of that top leaf was missing in the original.

Good DOF photo Per.
Near Oporto city, where I live, we have a lot vineyards, and Oporto vine have a trade call "Vintage". The title it's very good, catch my atention. The note it's very good, too.

As a wine enthusiast, I guess I'll have to leave a comment on this one ... Excellent application of your TE learnings on this one, Per - the close-up is yielding an impressively sharp and detailed result of the wine plant. Nice DOF that lets us spot some repetition and gives an idea of "vineyard" in the background. Well done, Per. Of course, now the expectation is that you guys will return there over the course of the year for you to document how the grapes turn out ;-))

Good capture Per! Is unusual to have images from this time of the vineyard life. You managed to get a lovely close up, with good use of DOF and good natural colors. Good job :)

Symbolicalally... Even the dry branch in the Spring is capable to blossom... On mine it is a wonderful photo and very gentle. As a hobby. And it is pleasant to me, as you have transferred colors. They are very natural, as it seems to me.
