Photographer’s Note
Southern France, its colours and its scents. This window captured my attention during a long hike following the Herault river. We stopped in Saint Guilhem le Desert, cause i wanted to introduce this place to an Irish friend. What was the first surprise? The matters, the way the owner of the house decided to enlight his facade. Even the tatty wall is interesting by the fact of the gradient colours exposed here, the handrail has something special : it has been sculpted by a creative hand as the window frame.
There are many artisans all around here, some traditions are still exisiting even time goes by.
It was the only "traditional" window i found out during the hike.

Clemence,
I think your photos are really spectacular. This one is especially attractive with the mix of color and texture. I also find unique windows to be good subject matter.
Best regards from rainy Florida (today only),

A+
Cyrille.

Hello Clemence
your composition has an eerie atmosphere which is also reminiscent of the Lomographic touch, a type of photo that I really appreciate. Though seemingly strzightforward and simple, the way you've composed this image is delicate.
Congrats
Emmanuel
