To conclude this mini-series on the salt sea, here is the purpose of harvesting : the salt mountains.
In one month, the 450 000 tonnes of salt representing the fruit of a year of work is stored in temporary camels, veritable mountains of salt of 25 meters high and over 400 meters long.

At the end of the harvest, the salt is taken to the provisional camels to be washed and put into final moutains.
Washing the salt in brine blank will remove the insoluble : it improves the cleanliness of the salt and reduce the secondary levels of salt (calcium and magnesium) to respect the requirements imposed by the chemical industry.
