Rainbow in a downpour, above Valflaunès in Herault.

Valflaunès is a village of 655 inhabitants located near cliffs of Hortus and Peak Saint-Loup (658 m), at approximately 25 km in the north of Montpellier, in middle of a Mediterranean landscape of garrigues and vines.
In Valflaunès, the vineyard, with controled label of origin Slopes of Languedoc, "Coteaux du Languedoc", "Peak Saint-Loup", covers a great part of the commune the wines of the Peak Saint-Loup, rosy, white and red, one a very good reputation

Hello Joel,
A very atmospheric image for this capture of a summer rainstorm. The colours of the rainbow are nicely defined dividing the picture into two halves. Good composition with the silhouetted hills in the bottom of the frame.

Beautiful rainbow and a great picture with a dramatic sky and clouds. The good thing is there is always some good light refracting through the rain. Well done.

Hi Joel,

a rainbow is what I coudn't capture so far. I really like this shot with the rainbow in its perfect curve on the right and that beautiful clouds formation. I also like the crop that emphasise the sky but showing part of the land for the reference. Great work!

Hello,

J'aime beaucoup ton arc-en-ciel, il est très gros et coupe la masse nuageuse et va atterrir sur le sole, j'aimeri bien une fois aller sous l'impact au sol de l'arc pour voir ce que ça donne et si cha chauffe.
Très belle image bravo.

Ce n'est pas facile de bien saisir les couleurs d;un arc en ciel, ici elles sont superbement rendues, en plus dans l'averse que l on voit parfaitement, ca donne un bon effet.

Je constate également que tu déclenches plus vite que l'éclair.Cet arc-en-ciel donne une super dynamite(dynamique)à l'image,les nuages presque sombres amplifient le phénomène.
Du bon job mob ami.

superbe! L'arc en ciel est bien net et j'aime l'effet de flou en dessous dû à l'averse. Tu as mis juste ce qu'il fallait de paysage en dessous pour mettre le tout en valeur. Très bien joué!
