I already deposited this week a photograph of the castle which was, to my great regret, withdrawn by TE due to contour nonin conformity. I request the twenty persons approximately who had deposited their criticisms and notes, to excuse me.
First version in ws.

Castle of Viviourès or of the Roquette 13th 14th century

Located at 25 km at the north-north-west of Montpellier, behind the peak Saint-Loup, on the peak Hortus, overhanging of 200 m the valley separating it from the peak Saint-Loup. The first mentions of the site date from the 12th 13th century.
The castle presents architectural similarities with the fortresses of Carcassonne, Puylaurens, Peyrepertuse and others of the Aude.

Hello Joel,
I really cannot understand why your previous shot of this castle was removed. Did they explain why? This is a very nice picture with good pov. Good light has helped in capturing the detail in the castle wall and rock below very well indeed. Very good sharpness.

Un truc bizarre comme il y en a quelquefois sur TE.
J'ai trouvé sur cette photo une harmonie parfaite entre l'éperon rocheux et les ruines de cet ancien château. Bien vu.

Greetings Joel,
I don't really understand why your photo was actually removed. Was the reason the external frame you used around the photo or was it on the post processing aspect of it? As far as I know you do little PP on your photos. Anyway, this is an impressive POV on a castle ruin on the rock. Nice blue sky & clouds. Regards. Latiff.

PS: I once had a close-up of an alpine flower. It was removed almost immediately. But I continue to see macros of flowers all the time.

même après la lecture de l'explication donnée à Jonathan,je ne comprend pas la suppression de l'autre photo.Pour celle-ci,je ne peux que répeter ce que j'avais déjà dit,à savoir que je trouve le POV excellent,que le château n'en parait que plus imposant.Les couleurs et la lumière sont superbes.Je te siuhaite une bonne soirée.

Tiens déjà vue ce chateau et pour cause....désolée pour toi....mais dit toi que c'est un nouveau plaisir que tu nous fait en le représentant, belle vue de ce chateau incroyablemenr bâti sur le rocher, belle lumiére qui permet de voir les moindres détails et l'embelli encore plus avec beau ciel

Bonsoir, cher Joël,
Ce château se dresse fièrement sur son éperon rocheux, il traverse les siècles avec bonheur. La vue en contre-plongée donne une sensation de vertige à voir les nuages qui roulent au-dessus du château.
Très bonne prise de vue.
Quant au cadre, cela relève d'un mystère insondable !

Al ver esta foto uno piensa como harían para construir estos castillos en lugares tan inaccesibles...

That is an imposing ruin ... by the angle of the shot, this must be quite high up. The contrast against that deep blue sky is just fantastic. Well composed ... the image quality is very good and so as overall contrast. Well done! tfs

Bonjour Joel,
ca, c'est de la contre plongée, un angle très redressé qui montre à quel point l'accessibilité est malaisée.
A voir les dégâts, on dirait que l'ensemble a bougé.
Une belle vue avec un ciel très marqué qui permet le détachement de ces pierres.
C'est net et bien cadré.

Bonjour Joel,
Ce point de vue en contreplongee quaisi oblige, a moins de disposer d'une montgolfiere ou d'un helico, a ceci de bien qu'il rend le chateau plus impressionant et permet de detacher ses structures dans le beau ciel bleu.

Joel, this castle sure looks like it has a story to tell, the hole in the wall, the rough edges... Photo is sharp and colorful and very interestingly composed, nice job on this one.
