Photographer’s Note

I have so many images of Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie that I could start a long, looooong series !
I'll still post some of them then, promise, I will alternate for the comfort of sensitive eyes and of the allergics of the pink colour ;o)

The pink color is ambiguous, untrue red for physicists who consider it like a desaturated red. Frail and ephemeral colour, placed in the subjectivity and poetry according to Homer.

Pink corresponds to a range of colors. The most commonly accepted is the result of mixing red with white. In fact, the variety of pink tones is broader. There are shades of bright pink (of which there are magenta, one of the three primary colors of subtractive synthesis) are not reproduced by simple mixing of red and white.

Some symbolic of pink colour:
* Traditionally, one considers that the color pink is for girls, as opposed to the blue color attributed to the boys...
* The pink is a color that symbolizes the candor, purity but also the seduction and fidelity. It is a symbol of femininity, softness, romanticism and love...
* This color also has a side can be relaxing and enjoyment of life, happiness and optimism.
* Pink is the color of the childhood and youth : remember candies, marshmallows, the cotton candy...
* For men pink easily becomes color of the ambivalence, the in-between, double ...
* It is the color of organic : some pink bodies is a sign of good health ...
* Modernity has changed the symbolism of candor to everything that relates to sexual pleasure, to eroticism : pink square for pornographic movies, pink messaging...

Salut Karine,
c'est carrément une dissert' sur le rose que tu nous fait là! En tout cas j'aime bien le détail de la fenêtre dans la fenêtre, façon poupées russes...et la texture de ce mur est top. Sympa.

Une image très bien pensée avec le reflet qui donne une touche de bleu dans cet univers "pasteque".

J'en rosis de bonheur Karine, et attend avec impatience tes 1000 autres clichés (il te faudra 3 ans pour poster!!)
J'y voyais pûtôt de la framboise, avec un encadrement de mangue . Super ton reflet bleu en diagonale, dans l'encadrement de l'encadrement. Bon WE

Le cadrage est bon, les couleurs sont bien pétantes, le titre alléchant, mais désolée de te contredire : la couleur c'est pas strawberry mais greNIERdine !

each time I see a photo taken in this village I ask myself why I have not visited it yet...
indeed, pink is such a despised and neglected colour and yet, in modern culture, it has been chosen to symbolize the different, the others - revenge of the pink!
I like very much the texture of the wall and the first window (the vanilla one). I find the second window reflected in the glass a bit distracting, probably because it's a bit blurred.
I am looking forward to your other chromatic shots! =)

Chouette compo au cadrage impeccable avec ce superbe détail qu'est le reflet du volet bleu dans la vitre. Très bien fait tout ça!

Bonjour Karine,
Un mur parfaitement mis en valeur avec beucoup de détails au niveau de la texture. Ton cadrage précis permet d'optimiser la fenêtre et le reflet de l'autre fenêtre, bien vu!
Ta note m'a bien amusée!
A propos de rose, j'ai offert un pull de cette couleur à mon amoureux récemment, si tu avais vu sa tête ^^
A mourir de rire. Mais il a bien été obligé de l'essayer quand même, il est bien élevé!
Résultat, ça lui va super bien, son bronzage et ses beaux yeux bleus sont mis en valeur. Bon d'accord, il fait 2m de haut et pas loin de 100kg, pas de risque qu'il ait l'air effeminé;-) Donc, moi, le rose, je suis pour!!!

Salut Karine,
Un cadrage KLB typique, la position de la fenêtre sur l'image est parfaite.
Ce petit volet bleu apporte un contraste amusant tant avec sa couleur qu'avec ses lignes obliques.
Intéressante dissertation autour du rose (également dans la note!)

tu fais aussi dans les galce, avec le titre de ta superbe iamge, angigique couleurs pastel, avec le bleu dans le reflets, cette facade lézardées, quel cadrage, quelle image, une merveille.
