Photographer’s Note
A shady corner in the little village of Roquebrun to hang the washing out to dry.
Roquebrun is a picturesque hilltop village in the département of Hérault in Southern France. It is located upstream from the village of Cessenon-sur-Orb. The current population is just under 600.
It is famed for its mild Mediterranean micro-climate that allows the local growth of citrus fruits, palm trees, mimosa and cactus. The mainstay of the economy is the production of grapes both fro the table and wine production.

Hello Stephen,
well done for this composition, showing a nice view on this typical street, I like the play of light and shadow and the details on the wall texture and the washed clothes. Very warm colours too. Nice!
All the best.

Hello,
Génial ce linge pendu dans cette our intérieure, il est bien à l'abri, colle contre la façade, avec la belle porte, le vollet, un bien bel ensemble qui se fond.
Bravo et amitié

Hi Stephen,
Not the most spectacular image here but a nice corner with hanging details putting in people's presence and telling about daily life.
Have a nice day JY

Bonjour Stephen
Une jolie prise d'une petite rue de ce charmant village. je crois que la lessive va bien sécher plus facilement que la mienne aujourd'hui.
Merci pour le partage et bonne journée.

Hello Stephen,
the strong light differences by the diagonal line and the washed clothes close to the wall are nice. I like the texture of that wall. I think the sharpness on the lower part is a bit less.

Hello Stephen. Motives are everywhere. HCB said once, the most inconspicuous can be a large topic. Your photo shows a motive for everyday life. It is not spectacular and nevertheless worth seeing, - the old wall, the door with curtain, and finally the laundry. Very beautifully. best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi Stephen,
A fine motive, something a painter would choose. The rough stone walls and the contrast between the shadowed and sunlit areas are strong elements here!
Greetings from Gothenburg
