Photographer’s Note

A view over the Orb valley and the surrounding countryside from the Place de L'Eglise in Roquebrun.

Roquebrun is a picturesque hilltop village in the département of Hérault in Southern France. It is located upstream from the village of Cessenon-sur-Orb. The current population is just under 600.

It is famed for its mild Mediterranean micro-climate that allows the local growth of citrus fruits, palm trees, mimosa and cactus. The mainstay of the economy is the production of grapes both for the table and wine production.

Nice view of the bridge looking over the roof tops. And I like the presence of the watcher on the balcony. You placed the horizon well in the frame. The weather looks absolutely delightful. Very pleasing shot.

Superbe publication, bien composée et dans laquelle la vue plongeante, sous un excellent angle de prise de vue, donne une bonne profondeur au panorama. Peut-être aurais-tu du supprimer le personnage du bas de l'image.

Un bon cadrage vertical qui donne une belle profondeur à cette photo et une composition bien pensée entre ce pont et la courbe de la chute d'eau sur la rivière. La présence de la personne en bas donne une bonne idée de l'échelle.

le midi de la France, quelle belle région !!
Tout y est photogénique, sous ce soleil si souvent présent.
Une vue plongeante bien encadrée dans un format vertical qui s'imposait.
Un agréable mélange de couleurs entre la pierre et la végétation.

Excellent POV catching the sharp bend in the river and the lovely old Roman style bridge.
