Hamlet of Ceps, in the Orb valley, in the commune of Roquebrun.

It is a hamlet of medieval origin. One discovers there his parochial chapel of XIIe century increased in 1898, his bell of 1647, and his bridge on Orb.

Roquebrun, in occitan Ròcabrun, is a French common, located in the department of the Herault of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, populated of 576 Roquebrunais, distributed on 40 km², that is to say 14 hab./km².

It is called "Nice of Herault" because of its microclimate. In a Mediterranean garden with the top of the village, but also in the streets, the mimosas, orange trees, lemon trees and arid plants of regions open out, benefitting from a slope well exposed and sheltered winds.

The village is dominated by a tower, vestige of a castle of Xe XIIe century, and the church Saint-André XIIe XVIIe XIXe centuries, built starting from the remainders of the old chapel of the castle of XIIe century. The houses border of the streets narrow, sloping and tortuous punctuated of small squares.

This hamlet seem very pretty in its architecture and location. The view is excellent and the image properly composed with good colours and sharpness. I like the surroundings of the hamlet with the low hills giving the area a nice place for enjoying the outdoors. Thanks Joel.

Hello Joël,
I like the point of view with the arched bridge coming in from the right and the village placed on the left. The foreground vegetation provides good framing and makes a nice contrast with the stone of the houses and bridge. Very good colours and clarity.

Great landscape shot! Your composition is great including the bridge and river. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The slope of the hillside creates a nice diagonal through the photo.

Hello,

Ccet hameau collé à la colline avec la belle végétation est un petit bijour, à découvrir, à flaner dans ces ruelles étroites, à découvrier ces vielle maisons.
Avec le pont et la vivière un bien bel ensemble, il y que peu d'eaud ans la rivière, ici avec toute la neige, toute les pluier ça coule de partout.
le ccadrage avec les collines à l'arrière est parfait, superbe.

Une belle vue de Roquebrun, Joel, dans la lumiere hivernale. On comprends une discipline de la construction regionale, ce qui manque souvent chez moi. Les toit sont rouges, dans d'autres regions souvent ils sont noir (que j'aime bien aussi).

Je m'absente quelques jours (Danube m'appelle) mais je reviendrai a ta galerie avec plaisir. Amicalement

ce petit village a l'air bien charmant avec ses maisons de pierres et ses toits de tuiles rouges, et surtout il est situé dans un magnifique paysage!Le temps ensoleillé et le ciel bleu l'embellissent encore,ça donne vraiment envie de découvrir cette région!

Bonjour Joël,

C’est magnifique cette vue générale et l’impression d’espace que l’on ressent devant ce paysage grandiose et bien rendu à l’image, le relief escarpé et le modelé du terrain recouvert par la végétation ainsi que ce village niché au pied de ces falaises donne je trouve, de la profondeur à la photo, une très belle vue et un site très impressionnant qui ne doit pas être simple à photographier, la luminosité est excellente, cela donne envie de connaître les lieux de plus près, je pense cette année que je vais me diriger vers les gorges du Tarn pour le moi d‘août, quel genre de village me conseil tu?
Ispagnac, Sainte-Enimie, Florac, les vignes, ou autre, Marvejols me tente aussi, bien amicalement

The arch bridge leading to this settlement is very well captured as a link and you have framed the composition well, showing mountain ranges and blue sky. Nice quiet place of the country.
