A new picture of the Perpignan streets, during the festival "Visa pour l'image" (this one was taken in 2007).
Still the Saint-Jacques quarter, next to the main places of exhibition.
I didn't thought the job of letter writer was existing nowadays. However, as the quarter is inhabited by a great gypsy community but also by a lot of north african people, this one may have some customers.
in addition, the climate between the community is sometimes tense, so the sticker above the brass shows that some people want to do everything to that the quarter's identity be safe, for and with its inhabitants.
