Photographer’s Note

j'ai récemment participé au concours photo de la FNAC à Nîmes et j'ai eu le plaisir d'apprendre que deux de mes photos avaient été retenues dans la sélection finale.
les differents themes étaient :
a fond les ballons,
light,
se mettre au vert,
trop tard,

il y avait 153 équipes pour un total 1224 photos.
la deuxième photo est en worshop.

I recently participated in the competition photo of the FNAC in Nimes and I had the pleasure to learn that two of my photos had been held in the final selection.
Differents themes was:
as quick is possible,
light,
put on a diet,
too late,

There were 153 teams for a total 1224 photos.

Bonjour Didier,

Merci d avoir posté les 2 photos. L effet de vitesse est vraiment bien rendu, je fais petit joueur avec mon velo :-) Il manque peut etre un peu de netteté sur le tableau de bord (pas facile de trouver le bon reglage, hein?).
Mais je vais bientot contre-attaquer avec la voiture: j ai commencé a reunir le materiel necessaire pour le montage que j ai en tete.
J aime beaucoup la note d humour de la photo en WS. Une tres originale interpretation de se 'mettre au vert'.
Ces 2 photos ont bien leur place dans une selection finale.

Hi Didier,
congratulations on your two photos that had been held in the final selection of FNAC.I like the photo that created from the moving motorcycle, but I think that is very dangerous for the life, photos like this one.

You captured the feeling of speed in a great way, Didier, as if indeed the viewer is the driver; we sometimes see this from the cameras in Formula 1 cars; however, here the context is more interesting, for the rows of trees on both sides enhance the impact. A feel of speed like TGV is splendid, a choice of the place where the trees cover the sky not to make a not good space is also nice. It seems as if sevy is running side by side.
For shooting this image, i would choose 1/15 or 1/30, too. I also like your photo with wit in ws a lot.

Encore une image très bien réalisée. L'effet de vitesse est vraiment bien mis en évidence avec ce choix de temps de pose. On a réellement l'impression de tomber dans l'image.

The effect of extreme speed is clearly captured in this photograph. Blurred photos could be no more effective than for conveying speed, but I hope that you were not driving at the same time you took the photo.

félicitations pour la sélection de tes photos pour aller en finale,éspérons qu'une des 2 gagnera§L'effet de vitesse est superbement rendu!Je vois que c'est une moto,et je me demande comment tu as fait pour prendre la photo par dessus l'épaule du conducteur,car je suppose que ce n'était pas toi qui conduisait,alors que la position par rapport au guidon le laisse supposer!Quoiqu'il en soit,c'est superbe,et en plus,il y a debelles couleurs et une magnifique lumière!

j'étais au courant qu'il y avait la journée fnac, mais nous étions absents 5j et le dimanche j'avais des invités donc pas possible le samedi d'y participer mais j'aurai bien aimé, l'année prochaine ,
un bel effet de vitesse sur ton scooter tu t'es laché des deux mains????? c'est christine qui s'est mis au vert sur le WS?

Last weekend was a competition photo of the FNAC in Bruges, I think 300 teams, but I've not participated.
You picture is very special, but nice through the blur.

Ah... c'est sûr, on sent bien la vitesse sur cette photo j'en suis même décoiffé !!! Exercice que je n'ai pas encore réalisé mais qui est tentant, en ce qui me concerne ce sera sur un vélo. Bravo pour ta place en final et je croise les doigts pour la suite !!! Haricots citron, ça doit pas être mauvais...
