Les Arènes de Nîmes sont un amphithéâtre romain situé dans la ville française de Nîmes dans le Gard.
L'édifice est bâti à la fin du Ier siècle pour divertir la population de Nîmes et de ses alentours.

Ici, vue sur la place des Arènes, avec la statue de Nimeno II au premier plan.

Une photo origibnale et bien réussie par la complémentarité et à la fois le contraste entre la statue et l'arène. Le fait que la statue ezst à l'ombre renforce l'image. Lumière en effet très bien gérée.

Hello Jean-Bernard,

Un très bon travail sur les teintes et surtout sur la lumière des zones de l'image.
Le PP est un peu visible autour de la statue mais cela permet également de la mettre en évidence. Les drapeaux colorés sont la cerise sur le grand gâteau de l'arrière plan !

une compo bien construite et des couleurs qui claquent bien. C'est vrai que l'on voit un peu le PP autour de la statue mais l'ensemble reste très chouette.

Nice point of view with the statue in the foreground!
The details are very nice as is the general toning of the whole composition. The 11mm so close to the statue isolates it well enough to stand out in the composition! Nice.

je passe tous les jours devant et je m"aperçois que j'ai tres peu de photos de ce splendide amphithéâtre romain qui après rénovation devrait avoir cette luminosité. (actuellement ils ont commencé la phase de nettoyage )

Une photo de plus prise de bonne heure le matin. On évite bien les touristes, de cette manière! Il semble que Nimeno II attire toujours autant le femmes, à voir le métal poli qu'il a entre les jambes...
