Calm morning , La Nautique, a photo from Languedoc-Roussillon, South

Photographer's Note

Par une calme matinée d'hiver , on profite d'une petite pause du Cers , pour capturer quelques reflets de bâteaux dans le port de La Nautique .
Ce petit port de plaisance est situé à l'emplacement de l'ancien port de galères de Narbonne , actif depuis l'époque celte et qui connut un grand développement lors de la colonisation romaine .
Ici , sont regroupées quelques barques typiques des étangs languedociens , mais je ne saurais vous dire s'il s'agit de "nacelles" ou de "bétounes" ... il faut pour cela être spécialiste de ces bâteaux mediterranéens à voile latine .

Bonjour Denis,

rien de tel qu'une lumière rasante pour sublimer les couleurs. En plus cela donne du relief à l'image, avec cette accentuation naturelle des contrastes.

La lumière et la réflexion sont évidemment remarquables. Les barques sont peut-être aussi des "pointus". La composition est bien faite avec une partie du ponton. Excellente qualité.

Ces reflets sont superbes ! J'aime aussi beaucoup l'alignement des pins parasols et la profondeur de vue : il me semble même qu'on distingue des sommets enneigés, au loin !

Hello Denis,

I love the composition in this picture: lots of strong compositional lines - the shoreline, the lines of masts and booms, the lines of the boats, the ropes and the jetty - but they all work so perfectly well together in a very satisfying composition.

Lovely vibrant colours, perfect exposure and excellent detail and sharpness.

On balance, I think I prefer the original version to the vertical workshop picture.

d'abord, et bien que un peu tard, je veux te féliciter par ton 4ème anniversaire sur TE.
Et par rapport à cette photo, c'est un grand travail esthétique, tu as capté des chaudes couleurs très agréables grâce à la basse lumière du soleil du matin, qui tombe sur la barque en créant quelques très jolies ombres.
La scène transmet une grande sensation de calme et de tranquillité.
C'est une composition très graphique et très attractive.

I like this kind of landscape, with calm water and boats (resemble the Venice lagoon, near my home).
