Photographer’s Note
How many baptisms, marriages and funerals took place in this remote, ruined chapel over the centuries? Now overgrown and left to their fate atop the mountain, the chapel and château overlook the "new" village of Montferrer hundreds of metres below, the village built from the stones of the old habitations up here.
It's a magical place.
