Photographer’s Note

The lighthouse in Leucate have been out on the cliffs above Leucate beaches since 1951. Height 62m.
A fine area for doing some hikes along the cliffs and to enjoy the views to the coasts north and south. Especially on a fine day as displayed in this photo.

Hello Jack,

Le cadrage de celle-ci n'est pas tellement réussi je trouve ! Le bateau est coupé et le bas de l'image semble vraiment croppé trop haut !! Le ciel a quant à lui une trop grande importance ! L'image aurait pu être meilleur pour nous présenter ce phare !

Very nice combination with the boat, lighthouse and the small houses.
This gives a very nice contrast against the strong blue sky.

Bonjour Jack,
merveilleux ciel, je dois t'avouer qu'en Belgique on se demande si de tels ciels peuvent encore exister.
Une photo bien cadrée , mais surtout bien exposée avec des blancs parfaits et légérement réchauffés.
Un clin d'oeil à l'ambiance estivale méridonnale.

The white lighthouse with the deep red top contrasting nicely the blue sky.

Ola Jack que belo farol tem uma contrução muito bonita gostei da torre vermelha contra o ceu azul faz um bonito contraste , muito bonito este barco aqui em primeiro plano , parabens!!!

Nice rchitecture on the lighthouse, good sky, it's allso well done to use the boat as foreground to flavor the image more. maybe I could have a little bit more ogf the ground.

Imo cbrman is right as far as the framing is concerned Jack. The colors are superb though and the note is very interesting.
