This chapel was in the beginning an oratory.
With rectangular plan, it is covered with a vault on intersecting ribs resting on bases. Narthex is of the same surface than the chapelle.

Ceyras is a French commune, located in the department of the Herault of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, populated of 725 Ceyradais, distributed on 7 km², that is to say 104 hab./km².

Hello Joël,
A nice composition of this charming little chapel dominated its soaring cypress trees. Both stone work and trees look superb under that Southern blue sky. Very good clarity. Of the three images I think I prefer the one showing the front façade and porch. Nevertheless, this one is very appealing as well.

Voilà qui me change des chapelles de Bretagne,c'est tout aussi beau avec ces arbres poussés par le vent,de plus le climat permet d'avoir souvent le ciel bleu.Tu deviens très attaché au format carré.C'est l'époque des années 1963 1964 qui m'a marqué avec les Instamatic Kodak au format 126 carré.

Hello Joel.
You have composed this to make the most of the charms of the little chapel and the three trees, using a pleasing angle of view. The colours seem very natural in this springtime light. The sharpness is good, and the shadowy area of the porch makes a nice contrast with the sunlit walls. I very much like the pattern of the three cypress trees all showing the same curves. Nicely done.

une petite chapelle près d'Eygalières ressemble beaucoup à celle-ci, notamment avec ce "narthex" de même superficie que la chapelle,
tiens, d'ailleurs je viens d'apprendre un mot ;)
