Photographer’s Note
This was taken last summer and is the view that greeted me from the hill directly above Cepie. Our rented holiday home was just around 50metres away but this view was not immediately obvious until one evening.
I liked the softness of the warm colours from the evening Sun and the contrasting lines of the vinyards in the distance moving out toward the Pyranees.

Hey Marcus,
this picture isn't what I would call spectacular, but it went straight to my heart, and that's what you want, when you share a picture, isn't it? I like it because of the natural soft colors, the pretty good framing, the depth of view, the color contrast from the sharp front colors to the soft background colors, and the 1/3 composition rule which is pretty well observed here. Congratulations! The f/22 was maybe overkill for sharpness, but it works great!
Cheers, & keep on
Pascal
