In Cazevieille, the garriguesscrublands, the Hortus cliffs, and the small mountains of PIC SAINT-LOUP, during the ascent of the peak by the crest. A magnificent, not easy, even dangerous path.

Situated in 20 km in the North of Montpelier, the PIC SAINT-LOUP, of 658 m of height, is a small mountain which stretches on 6 km, on the municipalities of Cazevieille, Mas-de-Londres, Saint-Jean-de-Cuculles, Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers and Valflaunès. It is a magnificent place for the hiking, climbing and vol à voile.

history, geology, soils and wines of the Pic Saint-Loup.

CAZEVIEILLE is a french commune, located in the department of the Hérault of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, populated of 180 Cazevieillains in 2009, distributed on 16.2 km², that is to say 11,1 hab./km².

The municipality is near the Cévennes National Park.

Très impressionnant ce paysage. Une belle plongée vers la vallée très torturée en contre bas.J'aime beaucoup la lumière qui frappe en diagonale ce roc .

C'est un superbe point de vue que tu nous fais découvrir ici, et une belle succession de plans différents qui donne de la profondeur à ce magnifique paysage. La vue sur le fond de la vallée est impressionnante, mais mieux vaut ne pas avoir le vertige quand on se penche vers le ravin !

Perspective impressionnante et superbe de ce paysage magnifique, fantastique POV avec ce pic rocheux au premier plan, un autre mur de roche colline derrière et la distance de la grande plaine, ce qui donne un degré de liberté superbe composition.
Comme toujours, la lumière et la netteté attention, nous pouvons nous enchanter avec votre excellent travail.

Bonsoir Joël,

Le point de vue est vertigineux, je suppose que, pour atteindre le sommet, on a tout intérêt à passer par la droite et le maquis ;0) Si ce promontoire se mérite, il offre, en retour, un panorama exceptionnel sur la région, ce jour-là avec une très bonne visibilité ! Bravo pour l'ascension et la photo que tu en as ramenée !

Lovely and strong landscape photo, taken from well chosen viewpoint. Wonderful depth of light and colors.
The deep depth of field is perfect. A well presented crop allows eyes to remain fixed on the large rock. This is a really excellent photo, and is a good example of landscape mode. The great light on the rock in FG and the blue sky color in the background also lends a lovely contrast to the scene. Well done.

La distance entre le sommet de la montagne et l'horizon donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du paysage. La bonne luminosité valorise les couleurs de l'image. Bon dimanche.
