Photographer’s Note

I shot this one at the entrance of Carcassonne medieval city. I liked the contrast between the medieval village inside the wall and the ride outside.

I've modified the original photo by cropping the left side (people and horse ride) and I've sharpen the photo just a bit.

belle prise de vues, au niveau du cadrage , c'est vraiment bien et le mouvement de la gamine est un +.
Seul bémol, je trouve que tu as accentué un peu trop, cela nuit à la qualité de ta photo.

Belle photo de ce manège superbe qui a enjolivé notre jeunesse, belle prise avec en arrière ce château magnifique, en très bon état, parfaitement restauré, de toute beauté cette place.

C'est un spectacle tout à fait étonnant sous les murs de Carcassonne. Ton choix et ton cadrage crée un excellent contraste. Belle réalisation.

Hi Rejean !
Nice scene - the carousel in the front of that splendid medieval fortress. Nice composition and the girl pointing with her had adds a vivid touch to the scene. I think there was no need of sharpening... but perhaps you know better - the structure of the picture looks a little like old tapestry and I do like it that way.

the photo is a tad too oversharpened in my opinion, but it has a very nice, festive atmosphere. interesting how you have captured the carroussel against the backdrop of the castle.
