We visited Fortress Of Carcassonne and we had not the best weather. In meantime was a little raining, but we were so happy that we could see this castle.

Hello Barbara,
Good viewpoint on the castle despite the parked cars. The cloudy sky retains interest and makes a good background for the outlines of the castle. I like the counterbalance offered by the red roofs on the right.

The thumbnail is not attractive (dark) , but that is the kind of picture that deserves to be open . Despite of the bad weather , you have very well captured the poor light , and the composition is excellent in this panoramic format , using the parking as an interesting FG for the castle here , beacause there are not many cars and a lot of greenery .

This is a wonderful shot. Both foreground and background are very attractive!. Beautiful saturated colours and very good composition. Magical atmosphere. This cloudy sky as background suits this atmosphere.

L'image est bien fait en termes de contraste et la luminosité, le château est bien cadrée, aussi, la saturation des couleurs est bien rendue.

ladna panorama i ciekawy POV. Podobaja mi sie naturalne kolory i bardzo dobrze ustawione ich nasycenie. Ladny kontrast i ostrosc.

Hello Barbara,
A very nice composition. I like the combination of the park and the impressive fortress. The weather may not have been entirely enjoyable at the time, but the cloudy sky is well captured - not at all washed-out - and has made the colours very mild and pleasant.

Les tours de la ville fortifiée de Carcassonne se profilent à l'horizon.
Le cadrage est très original puisqu'il conjugue le moyen-âge et la ville moderne au loin.

piekne panoramiczne ujecie twierdzy w Carcassonne.Mysle,ze nawet pochmurne niebo bylo tutaj zaleta,a tobie udalo sie odwzorowac kolory fantastycznie.Sa zywe i swietnie nasycone.Jezeli chodzi o calosc jako kompozycja to robi wrazenie-super kadr i jakosc obrazu oraz piekne,wspomniane juz wczesniej kolory tworza naprawde rewelacyjna kompozycje.Bardzo mi sie podoba!

Hi Barbara,
Those walls known to be the most fortified old castle in France, but from this POV you show more of the surrounding town, less on the mighty fort.
Colors collected well insopite of the rain, so was the clarity.

weather is hard to do something about but it looks like a nice experience to visit Fortress Of Carcassonne ,despite grey weather. I like your composition and i think it was a good idea to crop in the top of the photo to get a more panorama shot, Tfs!
