Below view on the fortified walls from the G. Nadaud street that goes up from the centre of town to the castle by the old bridge and the Trivalle street.
The talus of grass gave a rural aspect to the scene.

Hi Yannis,
the curious POV that you chose makes this picture strange and interesting. The biggest cloud, for its position, seems to be a sort of a puff of smoke coming from the tower. Good idea.

Cette photo présente Carcassonne de façon originale un peu comme si la cité sortait d'un champ. J'aime bien le ciel avec ce beau nuage juste derrière la forteresse.

beautiful this low pov showing the sky and the contrast between it and the shapes of this beautiful castle. The cloud and the area with plants are very nice to see and made an almost minimalist image. I remember the day I knew this castle, 8 years ago..
