Photographer’s Note

Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi.

Regularly, in the end of Autumn (when the touristic barges stop to sail), a section of the canal is emptied to a big clean up (and it need it !).
The last november, the east of Carcassonne was concerned.

This lonely kayak, moored to the bank of the Canal, was waiting for the end of the works to float again.

Entre contrejour et reflets, il est difficile de parler des couleurs de ta photo. Elles sont pourtant très belles, jusque dans la boue.

Salut Yannis,
Très beau contre-jour avec le rythme donné par les reflets des arbres. L'ombre cache partiellement es voitures et par contre, il y a une très jolie lumière sur le premier plan avec les feuilles mortes et ce kayak turquoise.
Très original, et belle atmosphère,

Hello Yannis. The actually interesting at this photo is the handling of the light. And the light is very beautifully represented actually, - supplements by the reflection and the silhouettes of the trees. Really A good shot. Best regards, Wolfgang.
