Photographer’s Note
The 19th of march, an unitary social action get together over 3 millions people in France's streets (the half, according to the police).
There were more people than the action of the 29th of january.
In Carcassonne, there were between 7000 and 10000 people in the demonstration.
Students, public servants, hospitals agents, post agents, farmers, wine-growers, unemployed, retired persons, temporary agents, private sector workers... a lot of various demonstrators.
The discontentment grounds were multiple : pump-priming considered as insufficent, fiscal reductions for the rich tapayers, golden parachutes for big owners, redundancy in firms making profits, purchasing power in fall...
In addition to the unified trade unions, we could see politic parties. Thus, this communist active member in the Carcassonne's demonstration.

I have to agree with Kristaps here--I think the best days in a Communist economy fall well below the worst ones in the French system, for nearly everyone. Some are just in love with the romance of revolution, I guess.
I certainly support those who demand major reforms to capitalism, though.
Anyway, it's a nice composition, catching the flag in a good position. I like how the man looks a bit odd and eccentric.
Regards, Ken.
