Photographer’s Note
Again a typical village of CORSICA fixed on the mountain. I'm not the first to present it.
SPELONCATO (or SPELUNCATU in Corsican) owes its name with the caves dug in the basement (spelonche). Here the pic of Alainh.
The old Sainte-Catherine church now restored shelters at the same time the town hall, the school and the post office.
The Pierre Percée (Pietra Tafunata() is one of curiosities of SPELONCATO. It is about a rock where every year, at the beginning of April and at the beginning of September, the setting sunbeams manage to pass in the opening and to further clarify during a short moment the place of the village located at two kilometres. I did not attend the event yet.

Très belle vue de la village of Corsica, Pierre, bon prise de vue. J' aime bien ce contraste de luminosité sur les partie en soleil et les parties a l' ombre, ainsi le pente brumeux.

Salut PIerre,
Magnifique celle ci, de mon point de vue une des plus reussies de ta (longue) serie sur les (nombreux) villages Corses, la lumiere est superbe, les maisons de par leurs couleurs contrastent de fort belle maniere avec l'environnement et le regard est finalement inevitablement attire vers l'eglise. Une belle reussite !
