The storm approach the village.

A photo taken over Rusiu near an old house. It is in ruins but it was a beautiful evening covered fig figs.

It is a tree that is found everywhere in Corsica. It was cultivated since the Middle Ages in regions Balagne and Cap Corse.
The figs can be white, black or purple or green. They are picking at the end of summer is to eat fresh or dried. Served with bread, it is sometimes instead of meals. It turns it into jam or on the kitchen.

Currently, growers are seeking to revive the cultivation of fig. A fair is held in the Valley of Peri in september, around the fig.
