The storm approach the village.

A photo taken over Rusiu near an old house. It is in ruins but it was a beautiful evening covered fig figs.

It is a tree that is found everywhere in Corsica. It was cultivated since the Middle Ages in regions Balagne and Cap Corse.
The figs can be white, black or purple or green. They are picking at the end of summer is to eat fresh or dried. Served with bread, it is sometimes instead of meals. It turns it into jam or on the kitchen.

Currently, growers are seeking to revive the cultivation of fig. A fair is held in the Valley of Peri in september, around the fig.

Bonsoir Marie,

Une image renforcée par la texture du ciel.
La couleurs verte est peu pâle je trouve, c'est su surement au manque de soleil.
La petite maisonnette semble abandonnée, mais le figuier lui tient compagnie, jolie composition.

un ciel superbe (tant que ça ne tombe pas...)
j'aime la compo de l'image ou figuier et maisonnette se font face; tout compte fait la Corse est souvent comparable à notre arrière pays des Alpes du Sud

Very nice point of view, the ruins are perfectly placed in the picture. The colours are very nice, the sharpness is very good and I love this almost apocalyptic sky. Well done!

This picture has a fantastic climate. Dynamic sky over calm ground. And I like this green color – fortunately you didn’t make it too green. Congratulations!
