Photographer’s Note

- Lake of Codole - Located in 10km from Ile-Rousse, on the three villages of Speloncato, Santa-Reparata-di-Balagna and Feliceto. I don't know if it's because it's an artificial lake but colours here are amazing and strange, very different from those of the ambient region.Encircled by a typically Mediterranean and wild vegetation, this plan of water gives a habitat favourable to numerous kinds and hygrophile vegetation which develops there, favours, notably, the presence of numerous birds in the course of the periods of migration, of wintering season and of reproduction. It's also very appraised of places for walks, sunday picnics ... and good fishing parties.

This is a beautiful panoramic shot. Like a post card. The colours are wonderful and the low POV very creative. Well done.

Hi Giorgio,
I was looking at this lake from the window of my room in Speloncato during my Corsican trip, but I've never approach it so close. I like the colours and the low PoV. I would add even more of the foreground instead of the sky that is less interesting in this case.

Bonjour Giorgio,
La série qui nous montres sur la Corse est magnifique, elle a de grandes photos.
Celle-ci est très bonne, elle est bien composée, en profitant du beau paysage qui te donne ce lac entouré de collines lisses, et qui nous inspire beaucoup de tranquillité et paix.
L'illumination est très bonne, et j'aime les couleurs tellement naturelles que tu as obtenu.
Souligner la beauté du ciel et du lac avec ses reflets.

Quel paysage. Un commentaire intéressant. En effet, un pique nique là bas, cela doit être bien agréable. Un beau ciel et le reflet de la végétation sur l'eau est du meilleur effet. Belle lumière et de superbes couleurs.
