Speloncato II Photo

Photographer’s Note

When I had to decide, where to stay in Corsica during my trip, TE helped me very much. I browsed through apartments offers and checked out pictures of one place after another on TE. This Pierre's photo influenced me most and I decided for Speloncato. It was a good decision, because Speloncato really is a great place to spend a week. Now I redeem my debt posting this photo of Speloncato and hoping it helps someone, as Pierre's one helped me.

In the same time I'm beginning a new day of my Corsican travelogue. The day when I set out on another trip to Monte Tolu, as in my first day in Corsica. However, this time I went by foot right from Speloncato (not from Bocca di Battaglia) and in absolutely different (and much better) weather.

Couleurs & lumière excellentes.
belle profondeur de champ.
Très bonne netteté.
Une suggestion peut-être : recadrage sur le haut & bas pour proposer un format plus proche du panorama.

Magnifique cliché. Je pense que la compo aurait gagné en dynamisme si la photo avait été prise de plus bas.

Wonderful view over this area. It's nice to see the village at one hill top, with almost no other buildings in the rest of the landscape. The sea is also great and the light's very nice. Good work, thanks for sharing!

There are quite a few images of this stunning little hilltop village on TrekEarth - but I never tire of looking at them. It looks a wonderful place with bags of charm. You have captured it from a nice angle with the rugged landscape giving way to the deep blue of the sea in the distance. The lighting is beautiful.

Beautiful how you have caught the sun on some of the buildings in the village and caused it to stand out in the image.A lovely landscape with good depth and a wide angle.The cut is really good and you have included just the right ammount of that lovely sea.TFS.

Hi Marek - the hilltop village is attractive enough, but the sea in the background adds so much more to the appeal, and I like how the lower part is framed by vegeatation, and not an ugly road as is often.

Joli point de vue bien saisi, la lumière était bien orientée pour éclairer les façades du village. L'horizon bien dégagé avec vue sur la mer et au-delà.

This is a marvellous shot and view ... the pastel colours of the houses contrast so nicely with their deep green surroundings. A well chosen POV, shot in great light. Superb quality.

J'apprécie cette prise de vue sur le village sur fond de mer. La vue des toîts donne la dimension de l'agglomération.
La qualité de l'image est bonne malgré la luminosité et la distance.
