The Agriates Desert (Désert des Agriates in French), located in the North Corsica between Saint Florent and the Ostricone River, is a fascinating landscape when viewed by own eyeball, but probably the most difficult one to photograph in Corsica. I took about 10 photos from the road on its eastern edge and all of them are quite boring. This one is boring too, but a little less than others.
They said the Agriates has been a rich culture land till the beginning of the 20th century, full of farms with thousands olive trees, lemons and figs. But after the World War I it began becoming depopulated and now it is dry, infertile and stony desert. Despite that, it still has a great charm for nature lovers and hikers. Here is more information on the Agriates desert in French and more Agriates photos in my website.

"Lunar landscape" ;-). Curious composition, good colours and sharpnes. Well done.

just behind those rocks, you have the marvelous beaches of Saleccia, Lodu and Malfalcu..
hidden by the desert...

Hi Marek. This one seems to follow the rule of thirds. I feel very alone when I look at this empty landscape. The colors seem rather realistic. Very nice one Marek!

I don't think the shot is boring at all. You've used the rocks on the right to form good composition. You can actually feel the dryness in this photo. Nice one.

Beau paysage typiquement mediterranéen, comme les précédentes

Boring? I wouldn't called this picure boring. It's a very nice view and all those rocks in the green landscape look very nicely. Well composed too and I like the light.

Nice rugged landscape with all these rocky outcrops and the green areas in between them. I like the POV. Well done!

Serwus Marek !
As You already know You made mistake calling this vista boring, i add my opinion that it would be interesting to see more of the background's shoreline. Some part is already visible. But it is still very impressive - this work of Mother Nature. Good exposure on the rocks also - not an easy task in such a harsh light.
