Photographer’s Note

The village of zuccarello is abandoned since the 10th sc. It consisted of a few houses with stones on a rocky outcrop. From this position, he dominated the valley of Corté on his left and on his right, he had an unobstructed view of the needles Popolasca. It remains the ruins of the houses, gardens level, and retaining walls in an area of hype intact. "Aghja" as it is called in our language, it is a stone circle of clay where the horse roamed the sheaves of wheat. Located in a place where the wind so that the straw flies to better reap the grains of wheat. I refer you on the photo that I published:

Families pray exiles called "zuccarelli" in memory of their native villages.

A legend surrounds the desertification of the village. I heard him say in several ways. Zuccarello village and the village of Tralonca are neighbors, they attended Mass in a church near Tralonca. According storytellers, the people of zuccarello or one of its inhabitants arrived late at the office Christmas. Furious they had not expected, they took them to the priest who before dying launching a curse on the village. This curse was "dry" the village. What happened! According to some, the lack of water caused the end of zuccarello. For others, it was an invasion of ants that made people flee. Some added that the priest allegedly cursed families zuccarello announcing them in every generation a disabled child… .. It remains to be verified!

The oak that grows in the ruined main load wave appears positive, and the photo pops his blue aura. The goddess seems present in those places.
